Email

With this release, the Marketing Cloud’s Email Studio is made generally available -with a rolling launch- to all Salesforce customers. Email Creation Flow allows users to create, edit, and test content in a single workflow, and build sophisticated emails without the need to code. Its enhanced features reduce the risk for send errors, previewing and testing on a subscriber level. Watch this video to learn more.

Content

Content Builder is the new Salesforce Marketing Cloud content management system. For this release, it is built into the Email Studio creation flow, but it can also be used as  a stand-alone application, accessed from the Marketing Cloud main navigation. This new content management system includes simple search and filter tools, organization features, and out-of-the-box templates with basic designs created by Salesforce’s strategic services partners.

Enterprise Level Approvals Workflow is tied into the new Content Builder email creation workflow for current Approvals users. This approval process ensures emails do not change or send without proper approval.  This new service provides an easy-to-use work space, that allows users to create comments anywhere in the email, see other reviewer comments, preview the email on a desktop and mobile device, check the links and test dynamic emails against subscriber attributes.

Users assigned as approvers in the existing Email app will automatically migrate to the new service. All other users should ask their Salesforce admin to enable their account via Approvals Service in the Admin page.
